Structural as an application on your own computer — Windows, macOS or Linux — running the same solver natively. Part of the Pro and Team plans.
What you get
Windows, macOS, Linux
An installer, an MSI for deploying to every user of a machine, or a portable .exe on Windows; one .dmg for Apple silicon and Intel Macs; an AppImage or a .deb on Linux.
The same solver, natively
The desktop app runs the solver the browser runs, compiled for your processor, and tests hold the two to the same answers.
Updates itself
On Windows, on macOS and in the Linux AppImage, a new version downloads in the background and the app asks to restart. Updates are signed and served from our own server.
Your files, your folders
Open and save models on your computer — the installers let you double-click a model file to open it — and import STAAD, SAP2000 and IFC files as in the browser.
The same account
Sign in through your web browser with the account you use on the web — a Pro or Team account — to reach your cloud projects and the copilot. The app needs an internet connection.
Works until a fixed date
Each version works until a date fixed when it is built — 1 November 2027 for the current one — shown under File → About.
Before you install
- The Free plan does not include the desktop app. On Free, use Structural in the browser — it is the same solver.
- The macOS build is not yet signed by Apple: open it the first time with right-click → Open.
